Playground Crafts and Fun

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Playgrounds for the Summer of 2020 will be run differently than in past years.  State guidelines and restrictions due to COVID-19 have changed how we will implement programs.  We have been working hard to create a playground program that will be fun, while keeping the safety and well being of our participants and staff our top priority. Each week, staff will be at a different playgrounds within Salem to offer a traditional playground craft and a non contact game or activity. Craft supplies will be individually bagged.  Playground Crafts and Fun will run Monday - Thursday from 9:30-11:00am.  Registration is required for this program. No drop-ins will be allowed. Registration will close at noon on Thursday prior to the week.  This will ensure that all forms are on file prior to the program. Each weekly session is limited to 10 children. Choose your week(s) and then choose your playground/park.  Please note that most of these parks do not have restrooms, so please have your child use the bathroom before leaving the house. This program is weather permitting.  If we are forced to cancel due to inclement weather, you will be notified by email.
